I haqve the exact same tires and have not had a problem with boost cut. one thing I have noticed is that it isnt enough tire for the kind of hp I have I spin thru the 60 ft at a 1600 rpm = launch less than that and it will bog then spin the tires. I am thinking 225-50-15 DR or getting some halfshafts and some slicks I asked santa but he must have forgot!

Duh. Drag radials are larger than low profile wheels so If I almost tuck my 18s on low profiles...whats the largest style rim I can fit. Me thinks 16....

PVO PT:

It may have been my fault! Just discovered nos bottle heater had loose wire. Ergo I was probably the victim of a cutback because the wet system was dumping fuel without consistent flow of nitrous. System saw the super rich mix and cut back.

Running again today with the 15's and will report back later.

Frank

It wasn't the wheels. It was the improperly heated NO2. Best run for the evening was 13.57 at 101.9 mph. Still had some pcm reset issues but now believe (thanks to 3BAR) was a bit too lean and knock sensor cut things back at the top end. Still working on the start and tire size. Starting to believe that with some 225 50 15s I can engage NOS mid-way through first (auto) and get close to the high 12's. With no rain this week - end I'll try again.

Trying again this afternoon/evening. Just mounted some new BFG drag radials size 225/50/15 and should get lots more grab and will try to launch with NOS on. I'll report back tonight.
