Either things are changing or Chrysler is still making stupid moves. The PT Cruiser Convertible website lists for the GT only a rear stabilizer bar!!!!

When I try that link it says's "temporarily unavailable". Maybe they're making the edit to remove the swaybar[

They may have been forced to add the rear sway bar.The convertible has inherently poor handling from the get-go since it has vastly less structural rigidity (no roof).

If D/C really does put them on the the GT it could be an interesting retrofit to the hardtop GT. It will also be interesting to see if they are the same size as the '01-'02 rear bars or if they have beefed them up.

Are you sure the "rear sport bar" isn't the incorporated roll bar, and not a stabilizer bar?[:I]

it has both a rear sport bar and a rear stabilizer bar listed.

Sorry I missed that. I would still go with a matched set from an aftermarket (or OEM) manufacturer. I'm fond of Eibach in particular. That new bar may be calibrated to compensate for the convertible's characteristics. Stabilizer bars should be engineered together for a certain applicaton in order to achieve the correct balance between under and oversteer.

After looking again I still don't see it. I see front stabilizer bar and rear sport bar, but no rear stabilizer bar. Maybe I'm blind?

Under Additional Options/Packages look for the items in bold type. Find Rear Outboard Seat Adjustable Head Restraints. The next item is Rear Sport Bar, the item after that is Rear Stabilizer Bar. While the Rear Sport Bar is listed as standard on both the touring and the GT, the Rear Stabilizer Bar is only listed for the GT.
