Default Installed Strut Brace

Well that was easy. I just finished installing my new BTG strut tower brace, and it only took me about an hour to do. I think the hardest part was actually wiggling the cruise control/solenoid bracket out! The front end does feel tighter, turn in a bit quicker, and so far I don't hear any groan as mentioned in another post here. While I only took it for a quick test drive, I did push it through a decreasing radius, tight and bumpy freeway off-ramp. Felt pretty good too. Have a look at it at http://www.formulagrafix.com/cruiser...trut_brace.jpg

My front end feels planted ever since I installed mine, vary happy with it.

Really like the look of the BTG brace, I think that will be the next project for me after install painted mirrors, engine cowl and battery cover which are suppose to be ready for me to pick up next weekend.

Punch & Hooligan, I feel for you guys having to wait for delivery. I'm a bit spoiled living where I do - I can drive to PT Tuning in about 40 minutes, so I picked up the brace on Thursday. I also picked up my cat/back duals there and had them installed locally. The guys there are very cool, even let me drive that supercharged panel conversion they have on their website. Still smilin' every time I think about it![8D]

No, not at all. Maier claims the supercharged car I drove has about 215HP, not sure if that's at the wheels or not, so I would doubt it's faster than the turbo. No turbo lag of course since the s/c doesn't rely on exhaust gas to get it spinning. No, I'm smiling thinking about the go-kart like handling of the thing - nice and neutral and flat as a pancake.
