Default Installed OEM Rear Sway Bar

I just got thru installing an OEM (16mm I think) rear way bar on my 03 GT. I must say it does make a difference in handling. Took my favorite curve and it is much flater than before. Thanks for everyone that has gone before me for your post they were most helpful but alinging the nuts in the brackets on the rear axle housing were a PITA. All I need to do know is remove and paint my rusted front sway bar yellow to match my rear bar and goldlines. If your wondering I bought the bar and mounting kit from Wykcoff.

You wouldn't happen to have the part number for this, would ya? Thinking about adding a rear sway bar myself. Thanks.

I don't have the part numbers but here is the page where I ordered the kit http://www.wyckoff-mopar-parts.com/20ptcroemres.html. You will also have to buy two 10mm nuts to fit in the sway bar mounting brackets located on the rear axle.

I am also looking for the DCX part number for the '03 swaybar (just the bar). Wycoff doesn't list the number. Anyone?

I was told by the dealer (don't worry this guy is ok by me) he tells me the design with the 2003 was modified that you should not need a rear sway bar. true or false? Gary

That's the corporate bullsh-t that the dealers are being fed. They generally don't know sh-t about the cars.

Those who have an 04 should not need a rear sway bar, I had to re-install the one missing in my 03.

What is the difference between an 03' and 04'? I did not see a bar on the 04's the last time I looked?

The bar has been integrated in the rear suspension, it's there.

3Bar explained it very elocuentky around here somewhere.

I just know it's there becasue my mechanics told me so.
