Searched through prior postings, but couldn't find the info. I want to get a second set of rims for my GT, and want to be sure to get the right size.
Does anyone definitely know the rim size and offset of the 17" chrome GT wheels? The manufacturer's tag on my doorframe says 17" x 6", but I've been told it's really 6.5". I tend to believe the tag. If I wanted to go to 17" x 8" (or 17" x 7") I need the offset info. I can't find any info on the stock offset. Thanks. |

From what I understand it's 17x6

I believe it is a 39mm positive offset. The offset is measured from the hub mount surface to the centerline of the wheel. You also measure the width at the inside of the wheel lip not the outside, that may be the .5" difference?
