Default pencil strut

Maybe someone here could help me. I've just had a cap load done to my '03 GT. Timing done tyranny was just replaced in February with only 7th mileage. Last week they replaced the cooling fan and radiator. I just replaced my lower torque strut and brakes and rotor and shocks and struts this weekend and found my pencil strut is missing. I haven't had the chance to call the stealer yet but I'm sure they are gonna tell me they don't know where it is... can anybody tell me if it's a must needed as I do have a small bit of vibration. Thanks

I would have to answer YES, you should have the pencil start as it's part of the suspension and maybe the cause of your vibration.

Now, please answer me this: what was it that you had fixed when you say:

That's exactly when your pencil strut was removed, and not re-installed!
Having worked at the service department for BMW/Toyota/Mitsubishi dealer here in my town,I will tell you exactly what you should(and need) to do.......
Go back to them, and be polite(but adament) about informing them that your pencil strut was there before the work, but is missing now.......They should 1st check with the technician listed on your service order, and it may still be laying somewhere around his work bench/area;He might even be expecting your return.(But if you don't.."Oh well!")
If they cannot find yours, they need to replace it at their expense(NOT yours!)
If you get any flak along the way....My best advice: Ask to speak to the person above the one your speaking with at that very moment.
And remember....."The squeaky wheel gets the oil!"(Speaking of....You may be able to get a free oil change for your added trouble!)
If all else fails.......Then it's OK to make a scene!...lol

Dad, somehow I can read your post and spot the mistakes from typing on your hand held but Shiloe seems to put good words in that didn't make sense.

Yes, saves me from looking like a bad 5th grade speller, which I'm not but the words I type don't seem to follow what I'm typing and when I look up (I look at the keyboard when typing, but doesn't do any good) lots of words underlined in RED which means I did something wrong.
