Default Rear Schocks KYB, TOKICO, or ??

I have to change my 2 rear stocks,

I don't know what to chose between KYB 553333 or TOKICO BLUE or others?

They are both good.

I tend to use the order you asked for personal preference. I do own several of both brands and have posted information and pictures about both on this forum.

However is pushed KYB is my first recommendation.

The choice of shocks and struts has a lot to do with the rest of your PT Cruiser. the millage of other suspension parts and the tires size and wear. Also your personal driving style plays a part in making a good choice. The problem is that most people can't try a set and than pull them return and try another.

So asking a loaded question brings responses from people that don't have the same frame of reference as your own and you are subject to there opinions and what they consider to be a good shock or strut based on a single choice replacing in most every case worn out dampeners.

The good news is that at least you specifically asked about 2 specific brands and gave a exact part number in one choice, this may limit the responses to members that have used them and them only. However you may do a Q&A with those responding to find out other aspects of why they choose them and other work to the suspension that was done prior or during the replacement of the shocks.

It make sense,

I'm looking for shock who are a good balance between to hard and to soft,
Im driving quite fast and like to drive on small french road, where there is curve, small hole, and we got also speed bump.

For people who used this shock what is the difference between this two ?

The KYB is a high Pressure shock called the *Gas-A-Just series. There is no comparison between this and the Tokico Blue for firmness and handling capabilities.

If you want a more positive feel and by your description of drive habits and type of road the KYB would be a better choice.

If you do not want the slightly aggressive feel or firmness but want improved stability over the OEM/Stock shocks than the Tokikos are a better choice.

If you are going to be making other suspension improvements in the future than by all means stick with the KYB *KG series shocks

The KG is the original Gas-A-Just which is now simply revised marketing under the 5 series for the PT Cruiser.

The Excel-G (GR-2) KYB is more like the Tokico Blue series shocks and struts.
They are less aggressive and have a softer ride quality over the more aggressive KG series KYB.
