Default Possible control arm bolt sheared?

Hi all,

New member here and (budding) PT enthusiast. I have a 2006 GT 2.4L Turbo vert, and an event today rattled me a bit. I'm still getting familiar with my car, so please hear me out.

I was making a turn and heard a loud bang from the passenger side, unable to tell if from the front or back. I found a sheared bolt and sheath next to the car, which may have been there before and I kicked it up. Not sure if it's a bolt that sheared from my car, though.

Long story short, I need help identifying the bolt/sheath and ifjt is from this model of PT. I'm at work right now, and I can't very well get under the car at this time to check it out. Any help would be immensely appreciated!

I agree with Tuggajb 100%. And it sure looks like one for a PT Cruiser. The good news is that the sway bar end links are cheap to purchase and not that difficult to install. The bad news? It will rattle like crazy until you put the new ones in. Don't just replace the broken one, do them both. The extra 15-20 minutes it'll take is well worth it.

Aspire to inspire before you expire.
