I could not get my search feature to work. I appreciate the help!
The people at the parts store look so very confused when they try to really get the right parts!

These part numbers are what I find for 2003 PT Cruiser but not for PT Cruiser GT from the Chrysler parts catalog. Your best bet is to go to the dealer with your ViN number. The only reason why I am listing these numbers is in case another supplier tells you that one of these numbers will work and it might not. You need to verify with the dealer.

I just put a set of new front pads on mine two weeks ago. Got them at O'Reilly Auto Parts. I put the semi-metallic pads on mine. Front pads are MKD841 and rear pads when I need them will be MKD658. The emergency brake shoes part # is 643, if you want to replace them.

Thanks everybody ! #841 fits... Advance Auto has them ,Wear Ever was the brand.
Sorry for the delay. These pads fit very tight.... Rotor clearance is very tight ! It measured 1.067. Any ideas why would be appreciated !
Caliper piston is down, shoes slightly drag! Thanks in advance!

Did you use a c-clamp to fully depress the caliper piston? I remove the master cylinder cap, and put a few shop towels under it and then depress the caliper piston with a c-clamp when changing pads. I don't buy anything from Advance. I used to work for them and consider most of their stuff as inferior to Autozone. And I don't buy anything from the Zone except batteries. I used to work for them too. So far, I've been happy with the parts I've gotten from O'Reilly and Rockauto.
