I think prime 195 wheels come closes to the GT OEM wheels and they weigh about 21 lbs. for a 17x7 wheel. Assuming GT's are 17x6, you can expect those to be 20 lbs. However, I have a feeling due to GT OEMs are mass produced and different size it may realistically weigh closer to 22 to 24 lbs.
I just installed my SSR's and new tires, I guess I can check later tonight to see how much my GT's and Badyears weight. |

Dude! SSR's? Go to Tirerack.com, they have weights for those! They are the lightest and most expensive (comparitively) wheels they have. That doesn't sound like the complement its supposed to be. Nice wheels. Which type did you get?
http://www.tirerack.com/upgrade_gara...uto Year=2003 They are very light. 13.2-18 lbs. and look awesome! (All, yes that says 13.2# !) Kosei's look ok, are a bit heavier and are cheaper. The kosei k1 racing 16# $169. 17x7.5 The kosei k1 TS 15# $239. 17x8 The kosei k1 racing 18.1# $179. 17x7 The only other wheel (that has weights) that is close are BBS's. Ger.
