Default Sticky Brakes?

Have you ever had brakes that aren't smooth when you're very slowly inching forward? Anybody know what causes that? Cheap pads maybe?

Otherwise the brakes work fine.

If the pedal is pulsing, the rotors are warped. If not, it's just the friction material. Nothing to worry about. If you don't like the fact that it is not smooth, replace them. Only $15 to about $40 dollars, depending on the pads, if you do it yourself. I'm sure there are more expensive pads out there, before anyone disputes the prices shown.

No, its not warped rotors. Only happens with extremely slow inching. Like the pads are covered in dried grape juice.

I've experienced it on different vehicles. Just wondering what it was.

Friction material. Not necessarily cheap material. There are a varied amount of materials available. Non asbestos acts different than ceramic that acts different than grape juice infused.
