PTGTRedman, currently running front: 1.5 turns (great handling but a little stiff) and the rear: 1.25 turns (from softest setting) both are a little stiffer than my original settings which were a little too soft. No bottoming out and combined with the eibach sway bar kit and the BTG Strut bar excellent handling characteristics btw I have installed the suspension techniques 1.25 inch lowering springs as well .....

For the best results all adjustable shocks/struts should be turned to 'full hard' then backed of a desired amount.

In this case the Koni is 'full hard, and back 2 complete turns' for example.

The reason is shim stack preload which may vary a bit by the build. Not that 'from soft' will hurt you, just that the reverse is more accurate.

k...so have them crank it to full firm, then wind it back a turn or 2?
i want it done right the first time.
The fronts come with a knob that allows u to tune them, but the rears need to be set before mounting.
What is the default setting for the shocks?

to adjust the rears you will need to remove them from the car and compress them fully then turn the shock. you will feel it click into place and begin to adjust. rears only go 3 turns or less on mine.

they are not on the car yet. SO when I have them put in, do I tell the guy mid setting or do I have to specify discreetly how many turns?

That all depends on what you want them to do. Ah, the joys of more parts to fidget with...

I suspect that if you run them at full soft too start with you may find them quite harsh even for daily driving. Maybe not.

The benefits are on track use where you can balance the dynamics of the car more. You want more oversteer and less understeer? I'll say yes. Any FWD car tends to push at corner exit. And turn in can be iffy as well.

Generally, FWD; run the fronts about 3/4 turn off full hard and the rears about 1.5 off full hard. This makes for less push at exit and stilll allows weight shift to the front under braking. Where you want it for turn in as well as begining to break the rear end free.

You do understand that these adjust rebound dampening right?

Yes, why I go them.
So much suspension travel with the stocks and my Eibachs...back in floats quite alot.
