A good way to check if tires are the culprit. Rotate your tires, front to back (dont cross them like a normal rotation) And see if the whole car shakes then. If a tire is out of balance in the front, you usually feel it in the steering wheel. If a tire in the rear is out of balance then the whole car shakes. Would be a simple way to isolate the issue. If it moves with the tires, its the tires, if it doesn't, its the shaft.

Probably my fault. I usually just respond to "new posts" but I must have delved into the forums and I revived this one from April.

No big deal, man. I just noticed it started in January of this year and he's made other posts since then, just not about this issue. I just wonder if he got it fixed and what it was.

My car has had a similar intermittent, but severe shake for several years. I don't think that it is halfshafts because they have been changed in that time. My potential ideas are LCA (ball joints/bushings) intermediate shaft (the one the turbos have to make the axles equal length). It does not seem to have the proper setup, but I haven't looked in ages. Also thought it might be the motor mounts (not the main one, the locators that I am not supposed to call motor mounts). On my car it will shake violently getting worse with speed, but if I stop - say a gas stop - it might be 100% fine at any speed afterwards. Sounds kind of like the "death wobble" on my cousin's Cherokee.

Sorry guys. I haven't been driving the car until recently. I started a new thread because I had forgotten about this one.
