May I suggest you look into the BFG Traction T/A V rated in size 215X50X17 ($111). Another good choice IMHO would be the Bridgestone Turanza LS in V rated same size ($149)! Or how about the Continental Extreme Contact in the same size at about $92 and they are W rated! All should fit on our very narrow 6" rims!

I just bought a set of Yokohama Avid V4s in the 215/50/17 size [V-rated, 93 load and XL rated). I have had them for over a month and 1500 miles. I have driven in the dry and "monsoon" rain. They are great tires! All-season tread AND a 60,000 mile warranty!

I think they are 1000% better than the RS-A. Very quiet too!

Just had Yokohama Avid H4s tires installed this morning. Went for a drive in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Handling seemed to be as much of an improvement as was the addition of the Chrysler rear sway bar, (I'd installed previously). I wanted a slightly taller tire, both for looks, and to get a more accurate speedometer reading. I have the 205x60x16s now replacing OEM 205x55x16 Goodyears. My dealer even bought the Goodyears, not much, but I would have thrown them away. They had 8,500 miles on them (with no problems). I wanted a tire I could feel confident with. The price out the door was $354.00 after 'buy back', and including all taxes, balancing and road hazard warranty. The H rating is good for 130 mph, and I don't plan to go that fast. Tires are quiet, and very grippy. All the cars in the family are fitted with Yokohama's Darrell
