I have read many of the threads, does anyone have a preference for one over the other? Race and street has the Progress kit (with rear install kit) for $409. I found the Eibach on ebay for $295 with free shipping, they say it comes complete with mounting kit but I am going to call Eibach with the part number to be sure.
sounds like the Eibach is adjustable, but it is also red(not cool with my Blue PT) the Progress is grey, much better. Here is a link to the one on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...e=STRK:MEWA:IT it is Eibach model # EIB2860.320 Any input welcome. Mike |

Eibach sells the rear installation kit separately, part #2860.320HKR, includes the end links, brackets and all the nuts and bolts. So you would need that kit to complete the installation of the rear bar or buy all the parts from your local Chrysler dealer. The exception would be if you have a 2001 or 2002 PT that came with the rear bar as standard equipment. Then in that case it's just a matter of R&R.
The Eibach #2860.320 only includes the front and rear anti-roll bars and the bushings. The total price, including the rear installation kit, comes up about the same, so it's up to you which brand to buy. Performance between the various anti-sway bars seems to be equal to me, but I prefer solid forged ends bars (Eibach, Addco, Hellwig, H&R, etc) not bars with welded ends (Progress).

I really like the Eibach kit. You call also purchase it from www.tirerack.com. They have pretty good prices. Regarding the red color of the Eibach bars, you barely notice them even with an open rim design. The color isn't bright red, kind of a milky raspberry. So, if you have a blue PT, you have a nice mix of fruits. Raspberries and blueberries!

I, too, purchased and installed the Eibach bars, and purchased the Eibach rear sway bar installation kit. Kit includes all parts necessary to install the rear bar on non-factory-bar cars. You will end up with a second set of rear urethane 'D' bushings (ones that go on rear axle) as the bar kit and rear install kit each include a set.
Best performance upgrade I've done. Did Eibach springs, too, but those are more cosmetic than function. The Eibach sways work very well (the first corner you take after installation will leave permanent grin marks on your face) , and are well worth the investment.
