Default Koni install - Alignment needed?

I am in the process of installing Konis on my 03 gt. I have the rears installed(very easy) and the drivers side front strut installed(not too bad but very labor intensive, drilling, cutting stock strut to insert new Koni insert)
I was wondering what people thought about whether i need a front end alignment after completing the install.

i would only get one if it pulled to one side or steering wheel was not straight.
Make sure you tighten the hex bolts at the bottom of the insert well and that the hole you have drilled is the correct size. If the bolt came loose it would clunk and could have effects on camber.

RallyD, Sounds like you did the install also. After cutting the stock strut(6mm) to remove insert and placing new Koni strut in tube did yours stand proud of stock housing. on mine the new insert is bottomed out and the bolt in place but the new strut is about 3/16 taller than the housing. the lip on top of the new strut is not flush with stock housing. any input appreciated.
thanks

ROT, Any time you replace or modify your suspension you really should have the alignment checked and ajusted if needed. My alignment was off with the stock suspension. I would recommend running a slightly negative camber setting in front.
