Default Nice...

Had my Koni sport adjustables installed last week. Also have Eibach Prokit springs and Eibach sways front and rear. Gotta tell you it's a different car. I sometimes wait and cut a turn a little late. When I pull the wheel in, the rear end just seems to smoothly slide right behind me with no twisting and rolling. Car handles bumps and irregularities in the road so much better...I am very pleased now [^]

GoldLines and Tokicos have been on my car for a while now (plus some meatier tires - thanks doc[8D]) and I've got a box in my garage with Eibach f/r antisway bars in it. The rear install kit is on backorder and I won't have it for another 2 weeks they tell me.

I can't wait to have handling that will compliment the performance of Stage 1. Your car must be an absolute joy to throw into a corner now!

Jealously waiting.

Mike, you should just go to a dealer and get the endlink set and retainers. That's what I did and it worked out just fine. If your impatient like me, that is []

I am reminded daily how important good quality shocks are to safe and predictable handling. I drive the LA/Orange County freeways(it is a battle on 4 wheels at 80 mph), and the difference is truly night and day.

If your PT is bottoming out on the backside....get Konis!

If your PT wanders at high speed.......get Konis!

If the combination of rutted/pitted freeways and high speed bumper car maniac drivers gives you pause.........Get Konis now!

It really is a small price for your safety..........Do It![8)]

Impatient I am, but there's also the issue of the new floor in the guest bathroom I've been putting off. If I had the install kit I'd be working on the car instead of getting the bathroom finished for our annual family BBQ on Labor Day weekend. That would probably be the one and only time my wife would ever complain about me playing with the car....otherwise I think she actually gets a kick out of my new hobby!

Kirby, I agree about the need to upgrade shocks when lowering the car. I didn't do that at first and grew to hate it. If you're familiar with OC/LA freeways you may know the Southbound 55 to Westbound 22 transition. Lowering springs and factory shocks were a scary proposition there at 60mph as that sweeper has some serious undulations to it. I put on the Tokicos and it feels perfectly fine at 80mph now....no cutting like with the Konis, and for a lot less $$$. Many have made the same move and love the Tokicos.

Brand choice is up to the buyer, but we both agree the upgrade is must with lowering springs!

I agree totally, the brand is a personal thing. From a long history, I have loved what Konis do to a car's handling, even with Porsche.

Though I live in south O.C. I travel to the 215, the 10, and the 60 almost daily. The high speed (80 - 90 mph)transitions that include almost no super, no guard rail, (broken, seperated, and stepped concrete), and steep 30 to 70 ft dropoff can get your perspiration up if your shocks aren't up to the task. I am just amazed at how smooth the ride is, at speed, with a quality shock.[8)]
