Hey Keith, they do sound like a good cure for wheel hop, and at $275.00 I think it's a great buy. Do you need any other suspension modifictions to see the bushing's benifits, or do the metal Psi Fi bushings solve a design flaw in the OEM bushings? For me wheel hop always happens when I'm changing lanes, especially on the Bay Bridge. I always gun it to get in the next lane and the rumble strips always cause my wheels to hop all over the place. It's like for a brief second the car is on marbles or something. I hate that almost out of control feeling. If these bushings do what they say then I think I'm gonna have to be a guina pig along with you, think I'll order mine soon.

To stop or reduce wheel hop, the Psi-Fi motor mounts would be a better option. They are comming out with a new version soon. The price will be $150 or less.

Check out this link for info on what the traction bushings correct.

If you have mechanical ability and can read instructions then you can install them yourself. After you remove your control arms you will need to take them to a shop and have the old bushings pressed out and the new ones pressed in.

These look like a good fix to the deflection problem with the lower arms ,but, I would be concerned about tearing out the body where the rear bushing mounts. With no flex at the bushing the stress is transfered to the body mounting and by looking at it, it does not look very strong? Just something to think about.

I don't think that you need to worry about failure with a proper installation. These were tested on Psi-Fi's own cars. Mikes car is a daily driver with over 400 HP. They also run these on their race car. The only problems that people have had is when they over tighten (with an impact wrench) the front bolt. This ends up crushing the bushing and not allowing it to travel properly.

I would have had these on my car today if Psi-Fi's press hadn't blown a seal.
