Has anybody tried the Mopar sway bar kit? Who makes it for them? How do they compare to getting a set of eibach's or other brand of sway bars, front and rear?

Mopars are probably just Eibachs renamed. They usually just contract with the biggest name (Borla, K&N, etc) and put the Mopar stamp on them. Cuts down on R&D costs.

I dont think so! The MOPAR kits that I have seen are always smaller in diameter then the other after market ones! I am not saying that the MOPAR bars are made in house but they are made to MOPAR specs!

From what I understand, the bars are def different. Diff tensile strehgths of the stell used, accounting somewhat for the Mopar's relatively smaller diameter compared to other aftermarkets. Or I could be full of crap...

I did a little looking into it. The sway bar is smaller than others by a mm or so. But looking further into going to put my final order in...it is only the front...at a cost a 388 my price (dealership employee). Yeah, super nuts. I think for that kinda money, I will be hitting up eBay for a complete front and rear kit plus hardware and good bushings for around the same price, maybe a little more. I want to get into SOLO II racing this spring and summer. Handling is key. Mopar ain't gonna cut it for me this time. So far eibachs are the way to go form my readings.

Hey BT, I got my Eibach bars for 299 front and back. Instead of using their endlink set, I went to my local DC dealer and got a endlink set and retainers for 70 dollars. Works just the same and the Eibach's fit just fine.
