Default 2005 GT wheels size?

Does anybody know what size the 2005 GT wheels are? I heard they would be 17X7?
That would be nice. Not that I'm getting a new car because of that. It's just my dealer keeps telling me that installing wider whells puts more stress on the hubs and suspension and therefore if I install wider whells than stock the suspension will not be covered under warranty.

17X6 [:0]
ive got an 8.5" rim with a spaced out offset and i can definitely attest to what the dealer is saying. soooo save your stock wheels and tires and when your car feels sloppy put 'em on and head for the dealer.
i like to rip (really rip) the corners and have replaced the hubs, bearings, bushings, ball joints and have the tie rods ready to go in soon. its the price one pays to go around corners fast and look cool. is it worth it, you decide. i think so.

According to Chrysler's website http://www-5.chrysler.com/vehsuite/V...cle=PT_CRUISER, the GT still has 17x6 wheels.

Sorry.
