Default Falken Ziex 512 ???

Hello everyone,

I'm buying tires for my car, and wanted to know how everyone felt about Falken Ziex 512's. I'm leaning towards getting the wider tires ( 225/45ZR/17 ) , seeing as they are the same price.

I don't think my speedo will be off that much, and they have a treadware of 360, compared to the RSA's 260. I also want to stay in the $120 or less price range per tire. The Falkens are selling at Discount for $108 I believe. The main reason I'm buying from them is because I was approved for $500 credit.

Thanks Everyone!!
Daniel

If you have the stock wheels with the 6" width you can't really use a 45 series tire. Otherwise those tires will be better than the stock ones for sure. I am putting on 215/50/17 Yokohama's Avid V4s which wil cost me about $560 out the door for 4 with road hazard warrantee. I picked these for their good ride, long wear, handling, and they are load rated for 1433 lbs which matches the rating of the RSA's! Good luck and let us know how your new tires work out!!

I did some further research, and decided I'm going with the 215/50/17 size. (That's the size Discount recommended anyways) [8D]

I should get them on my car around Thursday...

Thanks Steel =)
