I went with Yoko Avid V4s size 215/50/17 because they are all season and cause of the higher load rating. Only been on for less than a week but so far a better ride combined with much better handling. I am happy and got a 60,000 mile wear warantee for what that is worth. Bought mine at America's Tire for a little less than $600 out the door with unlimited good for the life of the tread road hazzard certs. They really do take great care of their customers with free tire rotations and air checks, balancing, and repairs.

Have had ES 100 215X50s for almost 40K (the stockers lasted 12K, due to a family member that loved to spin the tires). The treadwear is not that of a hard mileage tire, but they do grip. They do a decent job in the rain also.
No snow!

Enjoy!

P.S. also put them on my wife's 944 after Dunlop SP Sports....much better![8)]

Good news for me then cause I should get another 15,000 miles more than that on my Avids! Only time will tell. If not I will go with the ES next time! Mine are better than the RSA's in the dry so far.

Yeah but i can blame the city for leaving it in the middle of the road. I have found out that they spilled a box of them on the road and forgot to clean them up. I am about the third person that it happen to that day.Good news is i got a replacement tire for free from the tuner shop i have spent all my money in. Now thats customer service.[?][^]
