Default Ceramic rear pads 4 GT

Went to Pep Boys to get the nice raybestos front ceramic pads and wow, they now have their brand, called Pro Stop, in a Ceramic enhanced pad for the rear on the GT. Decided to try them. My rotors only have 6500 on them so I didn't replace them. The pads are awesome. Very linear pull and from 90mph they really hold on. Just thought you guys might want to check them out.

Checked their website but no real listing other then starting at $24.99. You're going to have to call your local pepboys and give them your details, unless topless chimes in.

I tried it and they said I had to pay for shipping and the pads and California sales tax. Way not free!

"ceramic enhanced" = blend. I have seen no ceramic rear pads for the PT.
Problem I have with "blends" is just like the synthetic "blends" of oil they sell - what %? And, it's as if they acknowledge ceramic (or synthetic oil) is better, so why would I want a "blend"????
I believe all PTs w/rear disk are the same - no difference between GT rears and a N/A PT with ABS disks.

Don, the pads have to be a blend because all ceramic pads would be bad![:0] They would not wear down, creating no dust, but would have no bite either! In a blend, they are fantastic; great bite and low dust, although they still aren't the best performance pads. But they are a great compromise between crappy OEM pads and ultra dusting performance pads! [?]
