Lip. todays paint does not need to cure like older single stage paint once did. Your cruiser is ready to be waxed or sealed now. YOu can also use the clay bar (for instructions on how to use it contect me through my web site. ) now, and is great for removing contaminants on your finish. Unless you are planning on waxing your Cruiser every month, I would go with a synthetic sealant. I sell one for 10 bucks, which people here have complimented me on. I use it in my shop all the time, and Ive used just about everyting. One bottle will last a couple of years doing one car twice a year. If you have any other questions I can respond sooner if you contact me through my web site, Gary

Gary,

The question was asked about how to get the Scratches out of the car. You talked about how they got there and how to avoid them but I must have missed the part on how to get rid of them once you have them and what about Swril Marks.

Also, What is the best way to remove Sap.

Turbo Red, I will be posting a thread on the General forum on scratches today, look for it soon. as far as sap, you need to get sap off your car IMMEDIATLEY. the longer it stays on the finish, it is slowly working its way through the clear coat. it is called "etching" in my business. For early removal, simply use soap and water, if that doesn't work, use all purpose cleaner, then go to a solvent based cleaner if need be. always start with the least aggressive method first, then go stronger. My paint cleaner that I sell also works well for stubborn problems with minor etching. Gary
