Reception is the same as the Factory Antenna...Each PT Power Antenna comes with Complete "step by step" installation Directions. For a sample of these directions Check out the Site at http:/www.raymondradio.com
We also offer The Power Antenna Trigger...It allows the Power antenna to function with the radio..(the OEM radio has NO trigger wire to function a power antenna)
