Anyone here buy a door modification kit off eBay?

Two men here in my county in Florida were arrested for fraud for selling door modification kits for $400 on eBay. The bogus kits consisted of nothing more than two home door hinges and two struts and were supposed to modify car doors to open upwards like a Lamborgini. They used the screen name of "Custom Lambo" and the Sheriff's department were able to identify 22 victims from across the US and Canada but say there were likely many more victims they have yet to identify.
