Default Ultra Lightweight Tent Trailer

Are there any DIYer's out there?

If so, you might be interested in seeing the build of my new camping trailer. It will be around 400 lb when completed. It’s designed as a Tent Topped Camping Trailer with a main rear storage area and a nose box storage area.

Check it out at, Explorer Pod Build

Thanks Careyk, A homebuilt is a great way to get a very cost effective and built "your-way" Tent Topped Camping Trailer.

Here is one I call an Explorer Box

Or how about a multi-purpose trailer, camping one weekend, run it the dump the next, then picking up your new reclining chair.

Your tent trailer was really good. It is nice that you can create your own tent trailer. That is one of the goodness if you will do your own style. Aside from spending a less amount of money, you will have the style you really wanted to have.

Great job!

That is way clever. Nice job, you should sell them on ebay.

Here is the latest version of our Explorer Box Tent Topped Camping Trailer with one of our DIY MOAB tent units and a revised larger front galley door. Prefect for those overnight rallys or car shows.
