I have purchased from Wykoff a couple times, and the items I purchased were the lowest price I could find.

I can understand how, when reselling items you're going to find price variations from place to place.

Wykoff's service is great, which should be a factor when purchasing too.

Just my .02 worth.

Thanks,
Rich Davis

Since I got my PT 8 months ago , I have purchased ALOT of things for it . Most of the things came from Wyckoff , sub-woofer , wheels , stull side molding , Borla exhaust , E&G grille , power-antenna , door sills and probably other stuff I can't remember right off . On every order I placed with them I have NEVER had the slightest problem , from the time I placed the order , till the UPS guy came walking up my sidewalk . Unlike a lot of companies out there selling various PT parts and accessories , Jeff Poole has ALWAYS been available by phone if I had a question , They have ALWAYS answered my e-mail . When I order , I ALWAYS get an e-mail confirming my order , and I have ALWAYS gotten an e-mail giving me an expected shipping date and I have ALWAYS gotten an e-mail telling me when it shipped . I see people posting on forums all the time complaining about one thing after another , like waiting months for their order , not being able to get any answers because there is no one to talk to , sending 10 to 20 e-mails and no one answers them . The list of complaints goes on and on . In 8 months of spending time each day on one forum or another , I HAVE ONLY SEEN ONE COMPLAINT ABOUT WYCKOFF , [other then the subject of this thread]. THAT SPEAKS VOLUMES . The only issue I have had was , I purchased a set of wheels from them , took the wheels in the boxes to have tires mounted and put on the car . a couple weeks later I noticed the chrome was defective on one of them , I called Jeff told him the problem and ask if he could send a new wheel and I'd return the defective wheel after I changed it out . No problem , I called at 2PM and Jeff saw that it shipped that day , with a pre-paid shipping label to return the bad one . I will continue to buy from Wyckoff because customer satisfaction and the desire to provide exceptional customer service is important to them , and it shows , unlike some of these outfits that are operating out of their basement or apartment and decide to satisfy an upset customer when they're danged good and ready to . Anyway Jeff , you all keep up the good work , you're one of the good guys out there . I am in sales and I have alot of competition from companies with lower prices and that does not bother me a bit . My clients buy from me because they value the service I give them and the fact I am ALWAYS there for them , even if they just THINK they MAY have a problem . Hech , some times I encourage customers to go with the "other guy with the lower price". They'll be back after they learn their lesson and I'll have um forever , at my price . [course they will be required to grovel alittle and possibly shed at least one tear before I welcome back into the fold ha,ha].

I think if everybody charged "the lowest price" we wouldn't have a competitive economy. I've bought from Wyckoff and received good service. But I've also bought from others and received good service -- and I'm headin' over to Race and Street in a few weeks to get some major add-ons put on because Bill is the only one I've contacted who offered very fair pricing and also agreed to paint and install at a reasonable price. I've written e-mails to four other places inquiring about their advertisements, and never received even a little response. One thing I really do like about Wyckoff's site is that it's very well organized and everything has a price posted. I'm more bothered by sites that list "stuff" but make you guess at what they're charging. Very few sites have as extensive a collection of PT-related items as does Wyckoff -- and Wyckoff quite often carries them BEFORE anyone else does. And that counts for something, with me.

The company I work for charges higher prices than most anyone else in our field. And we've been in business 54 years. Our motto is:
"We never worry about how little someone else charges.
After all, they know what their time is worth!"

But that motto can be a double-edged sword.
Do lower prices help create bigger sales?
Yes, they can.
I've spent $250 with Wyckoff.
I'm spending over $3,000 with Race and Street.

But it's never the only part of the story. I value both companies as much as they value me.

I just purchased an AIRAID intake system from Wyckoff and their's was the best price I found. Their service is also great. As with all retail operations they will have the best price sometimes, and sometimes someone else will. As long as they continue to provide good service and competitive pricing they will have a shot at my business.
