Default I have a 2003 turbo intercooler

I have a 2003 front bumper clip (Black) in good condition, and I have in excellent condition a 2003 turbo intercooler. original part, was on the car for about 700 miles. I understand this part to be rare.

I can tell you this, the factory intercooler is $687! Almost every intercooler I've looked at was way over $450. The Stage 2 intercoolers run around a grand now. The OEM intercoolers are also going up in price, because there just aren't that many out there. IMO his price is perfect for such a good unit.

If you picked up an IC at $150, then good luck to you with that part! I'd suggest not trying to up your boost any...

Yep, it's all about the timing. I've seen them go for as high as $200 when the demand was high and availability was low. Seen them as low as $125/$150 a few times. $150 seems to be the norm. There are times when they just can't be found. Of course that's when somebody needs one bad.

Me too. As you all know. I've got an NA, But you also know I like to tinker. I picked a perfect one up for $150 around a year ago with every intention of doing a "mod" that I had in mind to help out the turbo guys. I haven't had time to get around to it yet, but I will one of these days. It should be a big improvement over the stock fmic. It keeps getting put on the back burner by other other projects that seem more important at the time.

If I remember right "Taggert" over at The Crew generally likes pay no more than $100 to $150 for the fmic's that he rebuilds to his "Stage 1" or "Stage 2" specs.

What?---no one knew I've got an NA? I CAN NOT BELIEVE no one ever tried it before. I'm going to need someone to be the guinea pig and try it when I'm done. I'll let everybody know when its finished. I've got all the parts gathered, but like I said, it keeps getting moved back on my projects list. I've still got to finish my latest version of my NA "ram-air" package. Then there will be the two differant interior gauge packs to design and build. Then the "other" gauge pack to do. Then the "major" intake manifold mod to design and build. Then the rear steel wheels mod. Then the latest hood extractor mod (that will make four custom hoods on hand). Then------"probably" the fmic.

Wow, the auto-body shop that was rebuilding my PT after my big wreck searched for three days as did I, to try and find a stock FMIC. We could order one from Mopar at $638, but that was just too close to the price of a Stage 2 IC, so we went with it. Not a single one out there around $150. We did come across three used ones from $325 to $450, but not worth getting a used one. Be just my luck it would fail the pressure test and I'd not get any response from the seller.

I can tell you that the units that Taggert puts together work fabulously, matter of fact the guys rebuilding the car were very impressed, on the verge of awe, when we got it in. The down side with Taggert is it took nearly 5 weeks to get the darned thing.

Still built from a used unit.
