The exhaust systems on the web site are for SRT-4 only. I have no plans to come out with a 3 inch exhaust for the PT at this time.

Correction on the dps. They will only be avail in stainless steel.

The MAXX Fab web site has been updated with all the dp pricing and info.

Maxxfab's DP appears to be the only one made specifically for the PT Cruiser with the Mopar/Borla 2.5 inch cat back system. No additional fabrication is required. I'm very happy with that system on my car.

Scottmech - the question I have is when going with the DP with your cat, is the cat much less restrictive than the factory one? I understand it's rated up to 320 hp. My concern is that if Stage 3 ever becomes available for the PT GT, is the rated 300 hp too close to your cat's 320 hp? Is there a higher flow cat that would be an even better option?

Purplept,

Just buy the one with out the cat...even if you have to have the car inspected everyother year or so it only takes you an hour or two to switch back to stock for inspection.

Also you're going to have a lot more to worry about than just the cat... the clutch, tranny (either stick or auto), and axles will have to be upgraded to go past Stage 2 torque ratings to get any longevity our of your ride.

This one's a DIY, Bro. There will be no Stage 3 kit PT Specific from the Fatherland.

Any update on 1/4 mi times or dynos from users? I understand fabricator is too busy for this, and this is a good thing, as the more that get out there the better. We want to see some 1/4 mile records shattered. I loved watching vans beat cars (turbo vans from way back).

Is there anyone who is using a Maxx FAB O2 housing, 3" DP with cat and the TruBenz 3" Cat Back without resonator? This looks to me to be the best system.

FOr anyone who removed the O2 housing to swap in better one, how difficult was it to get the nuts off the studs on the exhaust housing on the turbo to O2 housing??

Mike
