Bob, check your local parts stores and check with your dealership...I'm sure one of the 2 can help you find them.

be cool, James

Bob, too bad your soooo far away otherwise I'd come to your next club meeting and host a detailing seminar/ that's what I love to do more than anything. You won't find the quality of towels I'm selling at 5 bucks at anyone auto store, check weight/size/ ratio of poly/ micro mix per square inch.........turbomangt

I just wrote to my friend Sal at ZainoBros, to see what he thinks. Here's his reply...

I've been testing the various Micro-Fiber products. Unfortunately, the jury is still out on them..... Some of them I tested are excellent and do not scratch... however some are terrible and definetely scratch.. The quality control of these products from overseas especially Korea is not consistent.. So you never know if they will be the same scratch free quality... Even when using the same brands, I found the quality to be inconsistent. It's a shame because I think the concept is excellent...

For now I do not use them.... I'm still lab testing... Stay tuned.. Unless they change their quality control... I would not use them on my paint finish...

Thank You,
Sal Zaino

I don't mean any disrespect but I think that Sal is dead wrong on this one. If we are talking about fifty cent flea market towels I would agree but I have been buying some nice towels that make cotton towels feel rough.

I know that he makes a good product but I do feel it is also way over-rated and has many equals that do not get the proper recognition because Z happens to be the flavor of the week.

Thank you auto care fantantic/ you have great timing in what you stated. Zaino happens to be in "fashion"/ Some people pay big $$$ to buy jeans with holes in them, so why not rip holes in your own jeans?,"the reason> because other people are doing it, so companies make them with holes for the weak and uneducated/ I will admitt, I have fallen prey as well. I bought the Zaino system a few months ago and put it on my Turbo cruiser, I had to see what all this hype was. (If I had known before hand that Zaino did not endorse micro-fiber towels I never would of spent my $$$) why? because at that point I would of known he has only goal, which is to sell his own products. Anyway, after having this miracle product on my New cruiser, I just removed it this past weekend, and put on AIO and UPP/Zaino didn't hold up to the standards I expect. if you have a show car and never dirve it outside, I'm sure it will work great. I really don't care if anyone buys my towels, I mainly sell them as a service to people that I detail their cars for, and people that attend my detail clinics. Since I love my Cruiser, and the people on this board, I figured I would post the link to my site. gary/ turbomangt

Maybe turbomangt should have his own forum here to give cleaning and detailing tips. what products work and what to stay away from.

turbomangt's tip of the week.
