thanks redman I haven't been to the mopar site in awhile so I didn't remember the exact figures off hand. I still don't think we'll reach those 260 hp #'s

also I know us guys with autostick will have to pay a little more since the s1 was a little bit more for the A/S because of programming. But not 200-400 more.

I'm very interested with the exceptions noted by all the other posts.

Tommy,

PT Turbo Stage 2 MSRP price exactly = to the SRT-4 Stage 2 MSRP price.

Then, we will let the internet vendors (and yourself) take care of better pricing

Just an addition to my post above...

There are two fixes that need to be re-engineered on Stage 2:

1. A number of posters on the SRT4 site have had a problem with cold-starting first thing in the mornings. It appears they have to crank their engines more than normal after installing Stage 2. The posters believe that is because the programming is way, way to rich for cold-start.

2. Stage 1 runs rich...but Stage 2 runs way pig-rich. Most believe this is in anticipating that the average SRT4 driver will step up to Stage 3, buy the larger turbo and then the fuel mixture will be closer to where it should be to offer a good power increase but still leave some "protection" in the fuel mixture (to guard against possible detonation).
In our case Mopar has no intent of producing a Stage 3 for the PT Cruiser so they should LEAN the mixture out some to produce a little more power, give us a little better MPG, and STILL leave room for safety engine-wise.
