I would buy Stage 2 if...
- it is discounted to $800 or less.
- it is CARB approved
- performance (engine output) is equivalent to SRT4 stage 2 (without toys)

I am not too worried about the price or the CARB approval at this point. Price will come down from MSRP and with or without CARB approval I don't really care. What I really expect from S2: stated 260-265 hp and 280 ftlb of torque and the reliability of S1.

I just want SII, it would be nice if it was close to the same price as the SRT-4. If it comes with CARB exemption then I would be more than happy to spend a couple hundred more. I agree with Boosta that the HP/TQ #'s should be up there with the SRT-4

if we're not getting turbo toys don't expect those figures. those figures are estimated with the dial-a-boost on high, race gas switch on and the IC sprayer and if I'm not mistaken some of the srt4 guys weren't getting those numbers

Rk, #'s with all the goodies and race gas is 280hp/ 300ft/lb.
Toys alone 265hp
Without toys and basic package I was pretty sure it is 260hp.


If you ask me, for 100 bucks less and without the toys, I'd get it.
Less plumbig and wiring to squeeze a little hp and tq. Plus where would you put the panel for the toys?

Won't pay 1000-1200 for something the srt folks are paying 800 for. That's a rip off. Why the big jump in price from the 800 that was earlier spoken of? CARB certification can't raise it that much and there is not even a warranty.
