I am realy excited guys and gals.. this last weekend Mike and my welder friend helped us finalize the new uppercharge pipe I have been dreaming about ...

GOOD POINTS ARE
*Easier to install

*ALL of the 90 deg bends including the silicone hose 90 deg. bend comming off the intercooler are way less drastic bends comming down in the 45-60 deg range.. wich might show some more HP gain..

*The pipe is shorter wich is less travel the air has to pass through

*I am trying out a new powdercoat color (candy silver) .. same color as the K&N silver pipes..

*I am going to do an intruductery price at the same price the old kit is

*I am still going to sell the old system for people that want to keep there stock air box

*You can not use the stock air box..
**most intakes will still work as long as the stock air box is not used..

Bob,

The VAK version 2 will fit the stock airbox and Jim's pipe. The VAK version 3 will NOT fit since you are using the stock airbox housing.

Adam sells both kits to accomodate our needs.

That is true.. I am still going to sell the other version for you guys that want to use the stock air box but still get some more performance..

Now I am giving another option.. A lot of people that want to make there cars faster will want to use this set up.. it looks clean, opens up the engine bay a lot more..

I am not making any claims on if there is more HP gain but in theory reducing the length air has to travel is better.. and reducing the amount of bends air will flow better..

The main reason I made this system is I am going to start selling to dealers (after I let you guys on the web site buy them for a month or two) and I want something that will be easier to install.. The other uppercharge pipe goes in well.. but has to clear between the battery tray and the transmision.. then turn up to the throttle body.. installing it takes some ligning up..

With the new version I went out away from the transmision and there is tons of room to play with.. should be way easy to install.. and doesnt go any where near the battery terminalls.. I am realy happy .. I am picking up a couple test fit pipes tomarrow.. and am supposed to install a system on a PT this weekend.. I will bring the pipes with me and try them on the car.. I will pick the best fitting pipe and start perduction on monday.. This is a realy good thing..

It is also a good thing for people that want to keep there stock air box but couldnt afford a brand new pipe.. I know of a few people that are selling there pipe that do not use the stock air box.. so you can pick up used uppercharge pipes from people ..

If you are one of those people that are selling your slightly used pipe feel free to post up on here or the for sale section and put a link on this thread to your for sale item..
