Hello all. I'm a new member and have been beating myself up trying to understand the air conditioning problem with my 2007 Cruiser. I have hot then cold air, surging when driving or at idle when air conditioner is on. Refrigerant is OK, but when mechanic checked the pressure was "high". I've seen some comments about LPS (I guess that's low pressure switch) but haven't found any info about where it is or how to determine if it is the culprit. Also have seen many posts about the fan motor being bad but since I don't have over heating and haven't found any "theory of operation" with regard to the low speed or the high speed fan function.
I would appreciate any thoughts/suggestions others have about this. |

Welcome to the forum. Maybe this will help:
A/C Low Pressure Switch, where is it? As far as the fan operation, many owners have had problems with the fan and not had overheating problems, just A/C problems especially if they didn't do a lot of stop and go driving. Please don't post the same question twice. Last edited by CREWZIN; 18 Jul 2011 at 09:17 pm. |
