Hello from North Carolina

Just bought my first PT. 2002 Limited Edition. I have loved the Cruiser since the first ones hit the showroom floor ( and were selling for $13K over sticker).
Mine just sort of fell in my lap, happened to see an ad on FB for a deal I could not pass up. We own a 1st Gen. Miata, and I did own a New Beetle. I have to say I really love owning cars who's owners are passionate about their rides.
Not sure what if any Mods I will do, but gosh some of your cars are quite an inspiration!

Welcome to the forum. We too just bought a used 2003 PT Cruiser Limited edition. Unfortunately, already having problems. Sounds like we'll have to have the transmission replaced. I hope you have better luck and enjoy your car!

Sorry you are having issues. Always a risk with buying older cars, but even with repairs it's cheaper than new. And the cruiser should be much cheaper when it comes to repairs compared to my last car. A New Beetle convertable. I LOVED the car but $6000 in repairs ( tranny, power windows, timing belt, suspension and so on) with less than 68K miles was ridiculous!
And this was a one owner meticulously maintained car!
