Hello from Dallas
Hello!
My name is William, i work for General Electric Transportation, In the locomotive business. For what it is worth, I Paint Locomotives. The wife and i just picked up a "New to me" 2002 PT Cruiser, 4door. From what i can tell it the Classic, though im not quite sure the difference between classic/base. stumbled onto the forums while looking for a fix for a power window issue. the PO mentioned the two front windows and the rear driver-side window stopped working all around the same time, and that seemed really fishy to me. im sure its possible but it seemed really odd that three motors would go out at the same time.. anyways im looking at replacing the console switch (thank you guys!) first, and going from there. Anywho, we paid about $1800 for it, its off an offwhite, and has about 155k miles. Will be fun to be involved in a car community. ::edit:: anyone know where i can find a new oil dipstick? the handle is broken on the current one and im a little ocd.  '03 GT Blue/ autostick.. 160,000KM ( That's 100,000miles for y'all South of the border ) All the options, the heated leather is a must up here in Canada, Love the solid heavy duty feel and obvious Torque.. The Turbo is strong, fast and reliable.. People that don't understand the love of a PT, probably don't deserve to.

Dunno about classic/base, but yours isn't a total stripper - those are 16" alloy wheels - base was steel 15" wheels w/hubcaps.
