Default hi forum

Hi everyone

Iím Robi, 33 years, from Switzerland, PT Enthusiast :-)

I bought my first PT (a nice 2007 2.4 non turbo) 4 years ago as a daily driver and especially for winter time. I have 2 other older cars (Z3 & 500SEC) both rear-driven and not capable to drive when there is snow Ė well, could be driverís fault as well ;-) However, PT became number one. After a while I started looking around for a facelift GT, which is very rare over here. Beginning of this year I finally found one with only 30t miles. Unfortunately, I had to sell my previous Cruiser therefore. Now I own a 2006 GT with manual transmission. Great car and great hobby.

A couple of things had to be repaired since it wasnít moved for a while (radiator, front brakes, camshaft sensor, rod ends, lower control arms & battery). In addition, I did some modifications :
- Eibach lowering springs (30mm/1.2 in)
- Removed rear spoiler, wiper
- New wheels (18x8.5)
- Double din radio
- Chrome spears

A next thing I plan to add is the Mopar subwoofer. And Iíd like to get some more hp with the DS or via a local tuner.

Cheers,
Robi

Welcome to the forum

Very nice PT, black vehicles look great when they're clean and the paint has a nice gloss to it, but they're hard to keep clean, but you've done a great job on yours.

Welcome to the forum. I'm curious as to why you'd remove the chrome spears, spoiler and rear wiper though. A LOT of folks here would love the spears and spoiler. They're much sought after items. I have an 03 GT, so I don't need them, I already have them!

I simply prefer that vintage look without the spoiler. The chrome spears I have added not removed. I like them a lot. Bought them in the US. Here you pay around 600 USD for the oem chrome spears when you buy it from Chrysler
