Default New guy in Upstate New York

Hey all, just found your site and registered as a member. I have always loved the PT Cruiser ever since I saw it as a concept car. I remember going down to the dealer to check out the first PT's delivered to our area as they were being unloaded from the car carrier. They were something other than the cookie cutter cars that everyone else was making and they were affordable too!! Something about the car just appeals to me (I know I am in the minority there but at my age I only need to please me). Having three kids, I had to wait until my then current car loan was paid off before I could get one. Finally got my PT in 05 and loved every minute of owning it. I had to trade it in (long story, you dont care LOL) in 2012 when I retired and have always missed it. Well I got the PT bug again and I have decided to get a Convertible Cruiser as my new toy. Havent closed the deal yet but I am close to purchasing a nice garage kept 05 turbo convertible. Sorry for the wordy introduction, looking forward to making some new friends here.

I find it ironic that the colors red, white, and blue stand for freedom until they are flashing behind you.
