Hello there,
I'd like to introduce myself I'm Michael. I have a 2006 Base model with a 5 speed and love it. When I bought it I was so interested in the 5 speed that I didn't even notice it didn't A/C.....the only downfall but I deal with it. Ibach Springs, KYB Struts, 18" TSW wheels with 235/40's, K&N Filter, SS muffler, Power Stop drilled and slotted rotors, and all the goodies. Just painted the car and getting ready to have new interior as well. It runs petty good would like to turbo it someday but the handling is unreal. In the 70's I had a Porsche 912 and made it a road racing car, then had a 87 Porsche 930 slant nose turbo and this little PT Cruiser comes very close in handling I'm amazed.
So there you have it!!!!!

Michael

Welcome to the forum. A word to the wise, if you're thinking turbo, just go find one when you're ready. It will cost you a LOT more time and money to try to put a turbo in yours than it's worth. You can't just slap a turbo charger on a n/a engine and expect it to stay together. Turbo engines have different internal parts.

I find it ironic that the colors red, white, and blue stand for freedom until they are flashing behind you.
