Talking Hey yall

New member here. Gonna start investing some money into my Pt 07. Got some pretty easy projects to do on it, but hopefully yall can guide me on doing it the cheapest and most effective way.

When I got my cruiser it was all shiny and new, and now it looks like it should! Front bumper is falling off due to a sidewalk dragging accident, back tail light is smashed in, air conditioning unit needs to be replaced (or does it?), drivers window motor not working.

In addition to these "minor" fixes, the car has had the engine fixed a couple of years ago (1K ish...)thermostat replaced, newer tires, and brakes fairly recently (two years ago maybe?). Just the normal stuff for the most part.

Its an 07 Signature series, with some cool rims that need a lot more tlc then i have time to give them since it's an outside car, no garage! I use this car for everything! Blizzards, heat, rocky roads, highway, stop and go traffic, this car gets me through!
Needs some love tho. definatly need some help getting the mechanical and exterior to former glory, and the inside needs some major MAJOR work done to bring back that shine! bring back that new look.

Any help i'll take in a heart beat! in the meantime feel free to tell me about your projects you've completed on your car!

Welcome to the forum from Texas. Mine also is a daily driver, used for everything. I do have a covered spot to park at night. Plenty to learn from the people in this forum.

Glad to see so many people here that are active!

Does anyone have a link to a GOOD video on taking off the inside car door so i can get to the motor for the window? I tried today and found this really difficult, broke the plastic piece on the inside arm rest nothing a little super glue won't fix but still annoying.

When prying the door off from the frame I used a putty knife to get in the groove, which worked, but I just cant seem to "pop" it out.

I did take out all 3 screws - one by the handle, two by the arm rest. I found a few videos but none seem to help

Around the edge of the panel are a few plastic pins, you just need to get one spot of the panel a little way from the door shell and then grab the panel with your hand and you can feel where the pins are, then give a sharp pull with your hand where the pin is and the panel will pop loose. They also make a special tool for it, but you shouldn't need it:

This video should help you out:
