Just picked up the Cruiser GT from the auction lot.

I was prepared for a chore. I was prepared for the worst.

Wow.... I just ****ing stole this car. Thing is nearly immaculate. One little ding next to the driver headlight that will be easy to fix. A couple of scuffs on the chrome wheels. Interior looks brand new.

Flood damage? WHAT FLOOD DAMAGE?? ... seriously, there's a water line inside the door jamb that's scary, but the door seals stayed intact. There was ZERO evidence of water in the carpet. The seats had a tiny bit of mold most likely that was already there because it had only been driven 200 miles since its last oil change - in 2016. Everything works. Everything is perfect... (almost, and I'll mention that below). Biohazard? LOL.... the tiny bit of mold was gone in a minute just from sitting in the seat and test driving it. I will still treat the leather, but dang, this car is in great shape.

Only problem appears to be mechanical, but (hopefully) minor:

1) Oil light is on, but engine runs quietly and smoothly. Oil is clean and full. Most likely the sending unit. These can go bad if a car sits a lot. Looks like a chore to reach, but with only 25000 miles I can't see it being the oil pump.

Oh, and the tires appear to be the factory tires from 2003. That has to change.

But looks to me like I got a steal. 25000 miles and nearly new, for $900 out the door after auction fees and everything.

Pics later. It was dark when i got it home.
