Default New Member in Indiana

Hello PT Cruiser people!

I am a 28 year old woman from central Indiana. I am the 2nd owner of a 2003 PT cruiser Limited. It belonged to my Grandparents and I purchased it when my Grandpa passed away. I learned to parallel park in this car and it holds sentimental value. I joined this forum because recently we are having some struggles and I was hoping to get some valuable advice here. Thanks for having me.

Welcome to the forum

Sorry to hear of how you got your PT (with the passing of a family member)

But glad to hear that you were able to keep the PT that means so much to you in the family

Please post some pics of your PT when you get a chance

Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear about your Grandpa, but happy to hear you got the ride you wanted. Start telling us what's going on with your PT and maybe we can help you out. Not me, per say, because I'm a dumbass.

Thanks for the welcome ☺

My Grandpa and I enjoyed many special memories in the pt cruiser which I named "Midnight Serenade." She is a dark blue color (midnight) and my grandpa and I used to belt out some great Simon and Garfunkel tunes (serenade).

Good news is that we did get it running today. I think that the gas lines froze in the sub zero temps we had recently. No so good news is that it seems like the cold weather has done a number on the battery. Auto zone tested it today and said while being fully charged it was only reading 3.7v.

I don't have any pictures of the car, but when the weather gets nicer and she isn't all salty I'll take a few.
