For those planning to attend the 2003 Chrysler Block Party, you must register at the site that I posted above.

Registering on the regular Chrysler site for "more information" does not register you for the event. You will have a conformation number if you remember to print out page 4 before going to page 5 on that site. CAUTION: Once you have registered and closed out the site, you can't get back in to make any changes.

Got my invite in the regular mail, in a cool clear chrome envelope, and it DOES state that there will be racing, the 180 HP version, and the 220HP version will be racing, along with stage 1 cars TOOOOOOOO. Is this where Chrysler will NAIL us for "COMPETITION USE"????? Should we take our license plates off to avoid any 'future' problems poping up??? The flyer is way cool, and there will be several Bands/live music, and lots more. uh is that a stage 1 on your car? Did YOU just race?? And did you know that we (them) now have you on video racing and abusing your cars, Ya know the warranty states............. Anybody getting what I'm trying to get across? Any imput/comments? Stew

Our post cards for our two PT Cruisers came yesterday. I can't wait.

knowyourturbo, the way I read it, Chrysler will have their own Cruisers there for us to race. We're not racing in our own rides.[8D]

hey there Basset Hound, Thanx for your kind reply, yes I WAS a bit worried about my 27.5k purchase, getting video taped and possibly being used against me (all of us) to invalidate my warranty. I've been to the Pomona race track about 7 or8 times with different vehicles, and have time slips to show (my best 13.4 in my GLH), but with my new car, and all the hype on this site and the SRT forums about upgrades, and the Mopar warranty, and so fourth, I was trying to see if anyone else, saw the possibility of a downside, exspecialy when we ALL have to register and provide our vin #'s, and Mopar know's who and/or which vehicles have been modified by suplying our vin's to purchase the stage 1. Sorry to ramble on, but hope to see you there. Stew

Hey Stew, I hope to see you as well. My Cruiser is fairly easy to spot, even if they do reach their estimate od 3,000 PT Cruisers. My wife's stock 2002 Inferno Red Limited will be there as well. It sounds like it will be a blast!!! [8D]
