A large group will be coming from Arizona and we will meet up with our frineds from Nevada and take over the Shiloah Inn near the Fairplex. One big party you could say!!

I'm sure as we get closer to the event that there will be more information about cruising to it. You might chack out the other PT Cruiser forums for cruises that people on them will set up. No matter how we get there this event promises to be a BLAST!!!![8D]

BTW---Steve, I'm glad to see that the AZ group will be there in force. I'm lookin' forward to seeing you. I still owe you one. [^]

We are UK Cruiser Club members who will be holidaying in Las Vegas during November. We would love to go along to the Block Party in Pomona on 22nd, any advise on getting there? Or is there anyone who would let us 'cruise' with them in the back seat of their car. We would pay our share of any costs obviously. Look forward to hearing from you.

There are some groups over on the PT Cruiserowners Club site that are planning to cruise to the Block Party together. If anyone here is interested, you're welcome to join in. The cruises are open to all--not just members. My wife and I found out that our ride was chosen by Chrysler for the Custom Court, so it will be parked there. Monterey Bay PT Cruisers

You can find us the first Saturday of every month between March and October at Roy's on North Main Street in Salinas. We display the cars, have a raffle for great prizes, and generally hang out and have a few laughs. We start around 1:00 in afternoon and stay until 3:00 PM or so.

We also get together the second Wednesday of the month at Coco's on Green Valley and Main Street in Watsonville at 6 PM for planning purposes. Everyone is welcome to bring their ideas and their willingness to volunteer.

Here are some posts from the PTOC about groups meeting and or cruising to the Block Party. All are welcome to join the groups.

UPDATE------ Orange County group is now leaving (in the Denny's parking lot in Brea at the intersection of 57 and Imperial Hwy at 8:00 A.M.

Meeting spot to cruise in together-----We can all meet at the vacant parking lot (K-Mart) just around the cornor from the fairgrounds around 8:30am on the 22nd. and all cruise in together as a large group and then Im sure we would be able to park next to friends and our new found friends. It would really be a perfect location to all meet up since the K-Mart is closed down and we can have the whole lot to ourselfs and would hold 100's of cruisers there.

Here is the location and address for the K-Mart we will be at.
1600 E. Foothill Blvd. LaVerne

Take the 210 fwy to Fruit St exit then right onto Foothill Blvd. Its about 7/10ths of a mile on your left. Once we leave the parking lot Its very close(approx 2 miles)and its big enough for alot of cars.

San Diego cruise up to the Block Party-----We will be meeting at the Park and Ride at the Deer Springs exit on Interstate 15 at 6:15 am we will leave no later than 6:30. Please be on time we would hate to leave anyone behind. If you are going to be joining us here please reply to this post so we have a head count. Los Angeles/Ventura County/San Fernando Valley/All Points North cruise to the Block Party-----We are going to meet in the San Fernando Valley at the Coco's restaurant at 10841 Sepulveda Blvd, which is immediately North of the 118 freeway. We will now leave from there at 8am, and head to the K-Mart parking lot right near the Fairplex to meet up with many other of our PT friends coming from other areas (see Mitch's post on the meeting spot) and then cruise in together. Orange County Group heading to the Block Party-----Some of us Orange County dwellers are planning to meet in Brea in the Denny's parking lot at the intersection of 57 and Imperial Hwy (from 57 North, exit Imperial, go stright, and you're there). We will leave the meeting spot at 8:30a.m. (Hoping to beat the rush) Everyone is welcome to join in.

Lancaster/Palmdale/High Desert cruise to the Block party-----The Phun Time Cruisers are meeting at 7:00 a.m. at Baker's Square in Palmdale. We will be taking the 14 to the 5 to the 210 route. We have 14 in our group so far. Looking forward to seeing everyone there and having a super time.


I hope this helps some of you wishing to cruise in with a group. That makes an event like this even more fun.[|)]
