The Big D Cruisers and Cowtown Cruisers present TEXAS CRUISER EXPO 2004, March 19-21, 2004 in Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex Area.
All PT Cruiser enthusiasts are invited to join in the fun for this 3 day event. Come show off your driving skills at the Texas Motor Speedway’s Nascar Track and shine up your Cruiser for the TEXAS CRUISER EXPO Car Show with hundreds of other PTs. There will be plenty of chances to win awards and door prizes, as well as time to check out vendors.

I was on your website today...neat stuff..wish The Kid was closer to me...anyway...this is our first annual show, but it is going to be HUGE! There will hopefully be 100+ Cruisers there...that is what we are hoping for...You will get to run some laps on the Texas Motor Speedway,[8)] visit with different vendors, win some great door prizes, show off your awesome ride at our show and even get to go on a police escorted cruise[?]...please help us spread the word about this show...we want to make it as big as Cruise The rockies, hopefully one day, even bigger. Stayed tuned...the Cowtown Cruisers has about 70 members and the Big D Cruisers have about 90 or so members...we are very active and try to do neat things at least twice a month....let me know if you hae any further questions.

To clarify, this is our first show as an independant club. We were at one time affiliated with the PTOC and held a similar event to this, twice. The last one we had over 200 cars. Granted 30+ were Prowlers, but still a lot of cars.

I will have more information concerning specific vendors, times and places as the info is given to me. I am the e-spokesman for Big D Cruisers and should have updated info soon.

Hello Big D & Cowtown! Houston City Cruisers has posted the event on our events page and have that weekend set aside for our Texas Syndicate!! We can estimate that we are good for 20 cars! How is that for the start! I bet that you can count on a good goup for Austin and Amarillo too. In the spirit of true Texas Spirit.. This will be a great event! So if we add them up we are now pushing 150+... [?]

I don't yet have that information. I also didn't know if you meant for a car show classes or racing classes.

There was talk about drag racing with this event as well, but again I don't have the verified info yet.

As far as TMS is concerned, that is just a 3 hour, 3 laps at a time driving event. There is no racing on the track. It is paced and there is no passing allowed. Previously, as long as you followed the "line" of the pace car, you could push him to higher speeds. You get out of line, the pace slows to 70.

Again, that was previously. I'm not sure what the stipulations are going to be with this event yet. There is talk that it may be under the lights.... I can just see all the neon now. That'll be sweet.

OH for sure it will be there! the new car debute's at the PT Block Party! Pictures will be on the net by sometime Sunday of the new car... We fly out friday morning to make any last minute changes... Then it's 8am at the Fairgrounds Saturday!... Wish us luck! Tammi is going with me and I will make sure she get the Austin and Amarillo group fired up about this Dallas round-up of our Texas Syndicate!..
