Have you ruled out getting a universal fan with a universal fan controller? I notice that your PT is not stock so saying original should not be a concern?

Not out of the question but i do not want a cel . I would actually prefer that because our shroud is so bulky . Im going to disassemble the fan and see if the brushes need to be replaced and go from there . So i will know exactly which route to go in the am .

Not to mention , dont the fan have a wire for the asd relay ? If the harness was no longer hooked up Could there be a way to reroute the wiring as not to affect performance ? Also the ac affects the factory fan .. id imagine there would be some issues there as well .

I have not seen the PCM cell or the wire schematic for the fan operation on early PTs with a fully PCM controlled variable fan speed operation. So I am not sure on any of your questions.
sanatanadharma seems to be good at coming up with electrical information, maybe if he reads this thread he may have something to comment about?

Well i removed the fan and for kicks i started her up . no immediate issues with the fan not being hooked up . But ive now reinstalled .
