Default good paint shop in socal?

as the proud new owner of a red 2001 pt, i'm looking for a good, affordable shop to do some touch-up work and minor dent removal, and maybe a two tone job as well. im also considering shaving the badges, including the hood. any suggestions?

The place that did mine was PTeazer in Huntington Beach. Check out their website at www.pteazer.com, search under customer cars and you'll see my yellow one with a black splash graphic on the front. They did a complete disassemble paint job. I'm extremely happy with their work.

wolf: nice pics! a bit less subtle than i usually prefer, but pteazer did a great job. i've heard of them before, and i really covet their airflow 22 grille, but i've heard that they're insanely expensive. their body parts sure are pricey. still, maybe i'll email them. got nothing to lose after all.

ppcrusin: never heard of santini before, but seems worth investigating. have a feeling that'll be pretty expensive too, though. oh well, guess i just need some more cash, huh?

When talking paint, it's money for quality. Especially here in So Cal, with all the regulations, a quality shop with a good, stable staff is not cheap to run. Shop well, do your homework.

Santiini doesn't even really advertise. He works off word of mouth.

Go talk to him. He is in the Whitepages

I would say that in the Indland Empire your best value/quality is Davis Auto Body and Paint Works in Corona, CA. He uses quality paints and primers and has good shooters. Yeah it is a bit costly but I think worth it in the long run if you want quality work. The owner is on the premisis and is a hands on guy. He shot my 87 Mustang Gt ragtop for $2700 (included some body work and tons of dings) using PPG products and gave me a 2 yr warranty. He did a great job on my after market fiberglass hood that everyone else said would not ever look like the rest of the car.

check arrest #10. google sure turns up some interesting things. doubt it's the same guy given the number of people named davis around here, but you never know.
