[|)]Pam and I are excited about Cruisin' San Diego. The event last year was one of the best, if not the best, PT Cruiser events that we have been to. The show site is the best around. We had a blast on the poker run. It took us through some beautiful areas of san Diegi that we had never seen. The other events sound like they're going to be fantastic as well. We hope to see all of you there that includes you, Roger. We haven't seen your Cruiser since you made all the new mods. [8D]

There will be some vendors at the event. Cruiser Motor Sports will be there for sure. They carry the chrome spears. You can check them out at http://www.cruisermotorsports.com if you are interested. This weekend Cruiser Motor Sports is at Cruisermania in AZ. They should be back home by Tuesday. Let Mitch at CMS know that Basset Hound told you about him. I'm not sure which other vendors will be at Cruisin' San Diego, but there should be others there. [8)]

Cruisin’ San Diego National Convention update
3-24-05

We are going to have a great event this year and registration is going well. The staff is hard at work behind the scenes and this is going to be one of the best PT Cruiser conventions we ever had.
We are going to Broadcast live on Friday over TV at KUSI and invite all the public to attend the Saturday car show. We expect several thousand to attend. We will also have all the Chrysler cars currently on the market there for all to test, in our ride-n-drive program. We have over 20 vendors who will be showing and selling their products. ( out of respect for our vendors only their merchandise will be allowed to be sold at the event)
Sunday morning at the Awards /raffle breakfast will start out with a live auto talk on ESPN radio with Dave Stall radio talk. This will be broadcast to people all over the country! Only those who have paid for breakfast will be able to come into the pavilion until the food is finished serving. Maybe you will be selected to be interviewed, live on the radio.
We will also be driving the cars in front the podium in the Pavilion to receive their trophies for all attending to see.
We have decided on the design of the logo for the exclusive blanket that will not be sold but given out only to those staying at the host hotel and special presentations. I will post it on the PTOC forums on the net. We still have a few rooms left for those who want to get one. The cut-off date will be March 28th, 2005. Also for those registered at the host hotel you will receive an additional 5 tickets for the Grand Prize 2 year lease on the PT Cruiser.
In the next couple of days we will e-mail and post on the PTOC web site the points and classes for the car show judging and trophies. The trophies this year will be etched in color crystal that anyone will be proud to display to all.
Do you want to save money?
On April 10th the price to enter your car in “Cruising San Diego Another Day in Paradise” will increase. Member price will increase from $20 to $30 per car: non-member will increase from $30 to $35 per car. All cars will be charged $35 on the day of the event for registration and entrance.
Don’t be left out join in on all the fun and register NOW!!!
We will also have several new items for sell at the PTOC store at the event never seen before. Including the new blanket that all have been talking about on the forums.
