HellO I am new to this but I called a shop in my local area and the shop told me it would take them 1 weeks to intall air suspension in my PT Cruiser at $42 an hour on 8 hour days is about $2000. Is that a normal price to install air bagg's and also I live in Mpls,MN so I need a good kit that will last during the winter(even tho it wont be used) is airbagit the best?

![]() ![]() well first off what are you getting. $2000.00 is a good price for the full kit but @ $42.00/hr. for 8 days work it sound like the $2k is for the install alone, you can get a kit for that and take a weekend and do it yourself.. If you can remove your struts and springs then you can easily instal the air ride system yourself. Believe or not the only time consuming part is running the airlines cleanly and wiring up your valves. PLus the benefits of doing it yourself is that if there is any problems with the system you now know how to diagnos and fix it yourself.. Kev |
